The Metro-Style School

A metro school is one located in an urban setting that utilises the facilities and engages the community around us, so we can be truly part of our neighbourhood.

Students love this because - they can be independent in transporting themselves around, they get to know and love and belong to a community, they take ownership of their environment, and they have a place to call home.

We have the beautiful Mount Wellington Domain on our back door; we are opposite the Panmure Library, we are close to the Panmure Lagoon, the Leisure centre and swimming Pools, cool cafes, funky shops, and of course Panmure Transport Hub - trains and buses connecting us to all of Auckland.

We love being a metro school because it connects us so well to the local community, where so many opportunities can arise!
