Steven Arnold

Founder and Principal. Steven enjoys teaching and has been recognised nationally and internationally. Steven is a teacher trainer, lecturer, principal, teacher, consultant, guest speaker, parent, board and trustee member. With overseas experience in England, Brunei and Australia, he has taught all levels of education from Early Years to tertiary.

Steven established New Zealand's first Montessori Secondary School in 2002 - Athena Montessori College (Wellington, NZ), then he became principal at Brisbane Montessori School (Queensland, AU), and has recently been the Senior Lecturer in Montessori Education at AUT University (Auckland, NZ).

Steven is a Montessori trained teacher in the following age groups:
0 - 3 (assistant cert); 3 - 6; 6 - 12; 12 - 15; 15 - 18yr olds (Diplomas)

Steven also holds the following qualifications:

Mentor / Support

Marie Kaukura

Mentor, pastoral care and Guardian of the environment
Marie's position as mentor is to be there for the students and support them as they navigate their world. She provides wind to the students' sails. She is also a guide and student advocate.
